Originating in Greece and adopted by many other cultures around the world, the Evil Eye, is meant to protect you from the others jealous looks. The Golden Eye Amulet has been hand-stamped on a beautiful 14KT gold filled coin and meant to be worn to protect you from evil curses.
The evil eye is a superstitious curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when one is unaware. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause misfortune or injury, while others believe it to be a kind of supernatural force that casts or reflects a malevolent gaze back-upon those who wish harm upon others (especially innocents). Talismans or amulets created to protect against the evil eye are also frequently called "evil eyes". -Wikipedia.org

Do You charge Extra to Have Something Stamped?
We factor stamping into our pricing. If you wanted something above and beyond what is shown, then there may be an additional nominal fee to do so.
Hand-stamping is the process of creating an impression in the metal by using a hardened steel letter or symbol and hitting it with a hammer to leave the impression. Each letter of each word is done one letter at a time. Sometimes the letters can be slightly askew but just adds character to your piece.
Engraving on the other-hand, is a process done by machine that scrapes the surface of the metal to leave the design or letter. This process leaves a perfect impression. We DO NOT DO ENGRAVING and love the handmade look and feel of the hand-stamped process.
We currently ship through Canada Post but are always looking for more cost effective and efficient shipping methods.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Yes, we do! If the rates that populate based on your location seem too high, please contact us directly and we can see if there are better rates available for your location.
When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in a dry dark place such as a zip lock baggie in your dresser drawer, never in a bathroom with extra moisture. Jewelry left out will tarnish. Keep it away from water. We recommend removing all jewelry before showering, swimming or especially going into a hot tub with chemicals.
Clean your jewelry when needed as it collects your body oils and products such as hairspray, lotions and sunscreen. As a rule, put your jewels on last, after you have applied all of your body products.
Gold Filled - is a thick layer of gold, usually 14K-18K mechanically bonded to either sterling silver or brass. It is usually 5-10x thicker than Gold Plate, making it more durable and will last a lifetime if taken care of. It is a great option for the look of real gold without the premium price.
Gold Plate - is a thin layer of gold that is bonded to base metal through the process of dipping the metal. Over time and wear, the plating will wear away leaving the exposed base metal.
Vermeil - the same idea as Gold Plate but using Sterling Silver as the base. You will pay more for vermeil than gold plated because of the metal they start with. This technique is good for jewelry that will not be worn everyday.
Sterling Silver - is a soft metal that contains 92.5% sterling silver and 7.5% of other metal (usually copper) to harden it. Sterling silver is a great metal for hand-stamping because it allows deep impressions when stamped. Sterling Silver is often noted as 925. **Sterling Silver can tarnish when left out in the open but is also easy to clean.
Base Metal - can be a variety of alloys such as copper, brass, aluminum, red brass, etc. On occasion we use some of these metals in our designs but never for earring posts.
