            Connection

Can you believe that it is September already?

A few weeks ago I did a huge brain dump, thinking of all the ways that I can best serve my customers.  As I transition into this next chapter, I feel it is important to stay connected, reflect on the things that have and the things that haven’t worked well in my business and fill the days ahead with reasons to show up.

September always seems like a month that we are starting over.  Our kiddos are back in school (or third year of uni, LIKE WHAT??), sports and art programs are back up and running or at least registered for and we are once again establishing a regular routine. We are no longer indulging in Mr. Freezies for breakfast and instead making bagged lunches.  New starts, shall we say?

I am taking this time to create some new starts, myself.  For many years of business, I have flown by the seat of my pants and have been very successful doing it!  However, like anything, I know I can make improvements by planning more and where it really makes a difference is in what I can offer you.  Or at least that is my intent!

In this day and age, our inbox is FILLED with garbage and useless information.  I certainly don’t want to add to that but I do however want to stay connected with you and bring some value to you as a customer.  For me, my business has been built on relationships and good people that have continued to support my dreams. My bottom line has never been My Bottom Line!  As my next chapter unveils, I will continue with those principles.

Although money makes the world go ‘round and we all seem to always want more, that is definitely not why I do what  do! If that were the case, I would totally be in a different profession!! In October, I plan to get into the reason I do what I do.  Ooh...riveting! Lol I am fortunate to say that I have worked hard in life to be able to do something I love every day and make a modest wage doing it.  It has always been about connecting with my customers on a personal level, having a small part through my handmade jewelry in telling their stories as they journey through life.

What do I mean by value?

Value means different things to different people but in this case, it means offering my VIP customers (that’s you!) things that the rest of the world won’t receive.  This may include downloadable prints, style guides, emails with special codes, sneak peeks of things I’m working on and early bird shopping on new launches or sales.
